Honeywell’s new Genetron Barcode Verification System allows technicians and buyers to verify the authenticity of refrigerant cylinders instantly using a smartphone. Each container is marked with a unique barcode that links directly to Honeywell’s database, confirming the product’s origin and authenticity.
The first product to incorporate this protection was the Honeywell Genetron R134a refrigerant cylinder, one of the most widely used refrigerants in automotive and commercial HVAC systems.
